Stage 1 – The Ignition key
Stage 1 is an extremely powerful tool, to learn about (Debits, Credits), the five categories to classify transactions, (Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue, & Expenses), funnels into (T-Accounts), with all account totals in the (GL General Ledger).
This Ignition Key is now only a fraction of the full app, the history was this 1st stage was the original purpose of the app. An easy and colorful tool, with an engine to add up all debits/credits from all the transactions, using “If” in “Sumifs” to identify specific account, which funnels into the appropriate account on ‘T – Accounts’ page.

The T – Accounts Totals is unique to this phase, CoA Chart of Accounts format, with all accounts totaled.
CoA Chart of Accounts (colorful)
The picture below is a small portion of the full (CoA Chart of Accounts). The CoA is colorful, which helps to demonstrate the (Natural Balances) of the five types of accounts. (Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue, Expenses)
This is often confusing, and extremely easy to mix up debits/credits.
Single Transaction Journal
A standard accounting/bookkeeping transaction journal. On top is a interactive Debit = Credit to verify always being in-balance. Drop-Down menus to chose 1 of 5 transaction types, then chose account.
Single T-Account Page
The T-account page is a (Sum-if) engine that adds up all Debits/Credits for each account.
GL General Ledger

Unique to Stage 1 only! A CoA Chart of Accounts format displaying all account totals, with Debits = Credits safety feature to ensure accuracy and being “In-Balance”.
The T-Account Totals page is the total from every T-account, in a CoA Chart of Accounts format.

Stage 1 – Powerful Little Hands-on Tool
The Stage 1 is the concept of a UI User Interface. Stage 1 takes all transactions, adds both credits and debits, funneled into the linked T-Account page, using (Sumifs) to add every debit, add every credit, to each corresponding account, displaying the sum total. Using ‘Sumif Formulas’ eliminates making errors using a calculator!
